Chemicals of the sea
Sophie plans to use the coastline as a space to experiment with the chemigram process during her residency here. She wants to use seaweed and the salt from the sea water to use as resists on photographic paper, using darkroom chemistry. Having delivered chemigram workshops in Bristol she is running one here during her residency using the environment around us to create new and exciting work on her own and with workshop participants.
