By living in the contrasting and multicultural countries of England and Brazil, Polish-born Monika combines her unique cultural heritage with strong influences from the pop and graffiti culture of the 1980s; the unique design of Polish and Czech posters and pre-Columbian civilizations.

Monika uses a combination of artistic mediums to create her work from acrylic/oil paint on canvas or for murals, freehand illustration with pen and ink, to typography, collages, and digital image manipulation.

“I like collecting and this reflects in the collage aspect of my work. I enjoy finding and exploring different materials and textures and to remix images from the past that I have found it somewhere on the street. I love what I do and I do what I love. I couldn’t think of any better way to spend my days.”
