Benjamin Ivy: Love Me (Not)Benjamin Ivy's first exhibition combines new and historic performance work, inciting questions of intimacy between the self and other. Following a live performance, open to the public, documentation of the work will be featured in the space for viewing.

Vinyl Night: Musical TermsThis month's theme is 'Musical Terms'. Search your vinyl collections for songs that reference musical terms or artists named after musical terms. Bring your selections down to the Fish Factory, write your name on the board to secure your spot to play three of your songs (in the first round - then two, in the second and so on). Sit back with a beer/coffee/cake and enjoy the selections of your fellow vinyl nighters.

Mary Mawonera is an immigrant from Zimbabwe who lost her family in Zimbabwe’s violence.
In this talk Mary will discuss how women can improve their self esteem and place in the world of powerful male domination, through her own difficulties as an immigrant and a women. This will be a forerunner to her 'Womens Conference' in early June (also at Fish Factory).

Taster Upholstery WorkshopBring along a dining chair, and fabric of your choice to cover it with, for this beginners upholstery taster session with Polliander. You will learn how to strip back and re upholster a dining chair using both modern and traditional techniques.
This workshop is strictly limited to 5 people- Polly will be in contact with you beforehand to advise you on the type of chair you are planning on bringing

This course will give beginners a solid foundation of skills and the confidence to begin drawing for pleasure. For those who already draw, it will strengthen and refine your skills.
