We are so pleased to announce our GRAND RE-OPENING. The Fish Factory will be re-opening from the 1st October! From 10am to 5pm. We will be cutting the ribbon and welcoming you inside for the first time properly since March.
Our cafe, gallery and shop will be open and there will be a slice of cake for all who attend the opening ceremony.
We take the health of our staff, artists and visitors seriously so we will be asking you to follow rules about distancing, mask wearing and hand sanitising where relevant. Can't wait to see you again!
It's our GRAND RE-OPENING. After the safety and success of our pop-up exhibition, Altar for the Commons by Hazel Soper, we are pleased to announce the Fish Factory will be open officially from the 1st October. Our first exhibition is SWEET DREAMZZZ by one of our newest studio artists Fergus Polglase. Fergus creates huge pieces of work which are layered and built up with aggressive, heavy mark making, which are then refined and cutback by controlled painting. As an artist his canvases interrogate masculinity, the mundane, comedy and violence. Don't miss out on this punchy exhibition, Sweet Dreamzzz will run until the 26th October. You are also invited to the private view on the 30th September 2020 from 6pm.
Our online shop is up and running, ready and waiting for you with unique gifts providing support for local artists.
We also have a new addition a HIGHLIGHTS PAGE which focuses on our favourite events. You can also check our Virtual Gallery Project - a 3D WALK-THROUGH GALLERY experience and online exhibition.
